Easy Christmas Cocktails
If you’re a wine lover looking for a special way to indulge this holiday season, we recommend spicing things up with a bloody good wine cocktail! Below are two of our favorite ways to enjoy our Vampire Wines during December.
The Holiday Wine Spritzer
Wine spritzers are a real crowd-pleaser at the castle! The instructions for this Christmas cocktail are super simple and only require four ingredients.
Ingredients:
Cranberry Juice
Ginger Ale
Cranberries
Instructions:
Combine 750ml of our Vampire Chardonnay with three cups of cranberry juice until well combined. When ready to serve, top with 3 cups of ginger ale and one cup of cranberries. Don’t forget to serve it our Vampire Stemless Wine Glass Set!
Red Wine Hot Chocolate
Nothing’s better than curling up with a cup of hot chocolate during the winter months. This indulgent hot cocktail is wonderful to enjoy when curled up with a book (may we recommend, A Walk in the Sun?) or with guests during the dessert portion of your holiday meal.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup Vampire Merlot
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup half and half
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Combine the semisweet chocolate chips, Vampire Merlot, milk, half, and half in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate chips are melted, and the mixture is hot. Then, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt. Pour into mugs and serve in our Vampire Vineyards Mugs. Add whipped cream and sprinkles if desired!
