The Count® Syrah and Chardonnay Duo

The Count®, a masterful artisan small production wine maker, brings forth this limited-edition Syrah and Chardonnay that will enchant your senses. Each bottle stands as a testament to The Count's eternal commitment to the art of winemaking.

Our Syrah grapes are grown in the hills between Oak View and Ojai, CA, in an area called Saddle Mountain. Small intense berries at this vineyard lead to a dark, spice-driven, jam-filled wine with grace and elegance tempering the brooding power. Aged in a 2-year-old barrel for a small oak influence. 13.5% ABV.

Made from organically farmed grapes from a vineyard a stone's throw from the ocean in Santa Barbara (Hope Ranch), this gorgeous Chardonnay is our take on a California Grand Cru Chablis. The grapes were hand-picked, whole-cluster pressed, barrel-fermented in neutral French oak and aged sur-lies for 3 years. Estate bottled, aged 3 years before release.
